Is it normal i think posing for an artist in a nude painting is slutty

It's a painting, It's not Hustler. Even if it was Hustler, so what, how does it concern you? It's her life.

I see no issue with a guy or gal posing nude.

I don't consider myself promiscuous or slutty but I've done it, and I don't think it's wrong unless there is some dick perversion involved. Nudity for art is fine!

As an artist (female) who has had nude models pose for me (male and female), it's invaluable for creating the realism and natural movement in a work of art to have a live model to work with. And, if they're a professional, it's JUST like looking at a still life arrangement (fruit bowl, ornaments, etc) and you're focusing on so many things unrelated to them being naked. If this is a seasoned artist and not just a newbie who wants to try out using a nude model, then there absolutely nothing sexual related to this experience.

I wish I was a good enough artist to get women to pose for me, but I don't think they want to be naked in the same room as a creep like me.

You should try it. It's probably better than you think.

I think it's stupid. If people want to do it then that's fine, and I mean that in regards to drawing the nude person or being the nude person, but overall it's just boring. Wow, someone naked...That is so amazing...It's not at all as if we all are naked under our clothing...

Surely there's far better things to be arty with.

Personally, I never understood the whole idea. I suppose nudity can be an art and those who pose believe they are doing it for art, but it's my understanding that if you pose nude many people will look at it in a sexual way. All I'm saying, don't get upset when that happens because you kind of brought that on yourself when you decided to pose nude. What do you expect?
