  • I would never get a Pit Bull or even a Rottweiler. If I had children, I would never get those types of dog. Dogs can be unpredictable, regardless of breed. Why get a breed with such a disturbing reputation. They even have a jaw that can lock into place once they clamp down on their victim. That jaw is impossible to open, unless they open it themselves. There was a case where this Pit Bull somehow got out of its cage and it attacked a small child. A man attempted to save the child by getting the dog off of him. However, the dog had locked its jaw. The man had to get a gun and shoot the dog to get it off of the kid. I know that Pit Bulls and Rottweilers are on the list of dogs that men like to get to make them look tougher. Pathetic.

    • Most people who own large scary dogs either want to look like thugs , or are well- meaning idealists who want to prove they are the dog whisperer.
I don't like any large breed dogs for indoor pets they belong doing a job they were bred to do. If you want a pet get a lap dog.

      • Lap dogs can be scary too. My mother's got one and he is so temperamental if he eats the wrong things.

    • I had a Rottweiler cross. One of the gentlest dogs I've ever owned.

      • Not all of them are bad but I kind of feel it's playing Russian roulette.
