I agree with SaraRyan, that it isn't a gender issue.
As for politics, I stay out of that, but any politician will have an "opportunity" to cheat, and to think they are somehow better than us, is not how I view it.
I think a business woman that travels every week has the same opportunity to be unfaithful, and probably even more so, than a man.
Opportunities don't show anything. Only actions do. Indeed, they cheat equally, but not because of the opportunities. In the same way, there exist the opportunity for everyone to study Mathematics or Engineering, but most students are men, while in Medicine or Arts many times women dominate. The opportunity of getting there is, however, equal for everyone. Statistics can show you the reality, instead of options.
My comment was that when there are more opportunities to cheat, it is more likely, eventually some may cheat.
It seems even more likely, when the likelihood of getting caught is lower, ie a business woman that is out of town, and is constantly being hit on at the hotel bar, may eventually give in to temptation.
From my perspective, women are hit on more frequently than men.
Apologise for the misunderstanding. I thought you were referring to the proportion itself. What you say is indeed correct and shouldn't be presented only as your perspective, but as a fact.
Yeah, but who you think does the hitting on? Martians? No, it's men. And a fair number of those men are probably with girlfriends and wives themselves, i.e. potential cheaters. So it all kind of evens out eventually.
IIN I think only Men Cheat on their partners?
