  • Sure, I get what you mean.
But the term "insanity" isn't a useful term at all. Just as it wouldn't do you any good to be diagnosed as "unwell" when you have a specific illnes.
Still today it seems as if every tiny deviation from a standardised personality is called a "disorder" of some sort. That might not be very helpful either.

You know you haven't given any reason as to why people would think you're insane. I mean other than being "quiet and polite". Surely you wouldn't think anyone else must be crazy because they're quiet and polite. When I'm being quiet and polite people just assume I'm shy. And they're right.
I think the only problem you have is that you think too much about yourself. I did that for a long time aswell.

    • I definitely over think everything for sure. The reason I think they think that is the body language. People seem to immediately distance themselves from me. I'm not trying to read people's minds but the looks I get from people make me think this.

      • What is the body language which you believe causes others to distance themselves from you?

        • Btw I think body language says a lot when it's displayed over and over again. Yes we can misinterpret occasionally but not time and time and time again.

          • But what is this body language you're talking about? If you mean facial expressions, of course others respond to them and similarly ways of expressing oneself verbally

            • I guess I don't understand exactly what you're looking for. How do I describe a facial expression with words. What does it matter. Its not that important to my question really.

My original question was I THINK. not that it was reality, even tho I am convinced it is.

        • A clerks face is smiling and they are easy going to customers before but suddenly with me, expressionless and hurried.

In a group conversation. In that situation people are in active conversation until I speak up (on topic) and they all go quiet then talk to others and ignore me.

The way people disband when I join in, the way people look at me quizzically. I look and smell normal btw.

Then also, apart from body language, I have no friends, no romantic interests, my family has outings and get togethers all the time but never Invite me. My parents and sibling have not texted or called me in over a decade. My folks won't allow me over if there is a chance the neighbors and company may stop by.

          I could go on forever.

Something is clearly wrong with me. Just no-one, not even doctors will tell me what.

      • Ah yes, the body language.
There's quite a few interesting studies and talks on how little we're really able to read people. Apparently they found that people are better at telling if someone's lying on the phone than in person. Because we try to read expressions but misinterpret them.
You're already going around thinking people mistrust you, so of course that's how you interpret what they do.
Imagine if you met someone who's EXACTLY like yourself: He'd see you and think: "Oh, that guy probably thinks I'm weird" and he'd look at the floor. Then you'd be like: "Oh, he looks at the floor, guess he thinks I'm weird." and take a step back. Now he's thinking "Shit, he's backing away! Do I look creepy?" And it would just go on and on.

See, most people don't think about you - They're busy thinking about themselves.
