Is it normal i think all people are really pro-choice?

How could you love a child that would never grow up, appreciate your care as a parent, and just be confined to a wheelchair and moan in pain? I think all pro-lifers would be pro-choice if it wasn’t for their religious beliefs.

Not sure about that. But a lot of pro-life people like to make exceptions for themselves - "I'm pro-life unless *I* need an abortion."

When I was studying journalism years ago I interviewed a well known doctor who advocated for abortion and he told me that the majority of women coming to his clinic were catholics who didn't believe in contraception until they were pregnant and didn't want to be.

I don't believe abortion is desirable, but it is necessary in any circumstances when a woman is pregnant and doesn't want to be.

That was me. Then I came to the realization that abortion can be justified, even though its still evil. Basically, there are situations where it is the lesser of 2 evils. Like raising a kid you didn't want is not a good situation either.

To me a man of 50 . I honestly think its totally down to the 2 people it involves but mostly down to the woman . Who has the right to tell a woman what to do when we dont know why she feels in the sitition

Because someone who is at the mercy of the women will die if they make the decision.

Its completely optional to have children. Just dont begin the process and forget about it for 15 weeks when I deny it.

I don't think someone can be considered pro-choice if they only believe in abortions in really specific circumstances. The reason it's called pro-CHOICE is because it doesn't matter why she wants the abortion. It's her body, she can do what she whatever she wants, end of story. If you disagree with that, then you're not pro-choice.

Absolutely correct. Being pro-choice isn't about being pro-death. Being pro-choice is exactly what it says on the tin. Allowing the family in question to make that choice and staying out of said choice because it has the cube root of Jack Shit to do with anyone else.

Probably. I'm pro-choice, but I dislike when women use abortion as another form of birth control or a cancel button when they change their minds. Condoms are free at Planned Parenthood, colleges and other facilities. There's Plan-B. Planned Parenthood give free birth control to young girls who are jobless or have very low income (that's how I got my IUD years ago).

With all these different methods of birth control and ways to get it for free, abortion should only be used as a safety net in case birth control fails or you were raped.

Getting an abortion is way more expensive and time-consuming than using a condom, so I don't think that happens regularly.

You're probably right, I'm just mad that my irresponsible family for getting abortions so casually after learning they were months into pregnancy on multiple occasions.

Yeah that grinds my gears too. Someone who lacks the foresight of something so inevitable as sex leading to pregnancy without taking precautions before hand. I'm sterile naturally so I get to criticize all you MF who are getting pregnant and claiming you have no idea how it happend.

Yeah, no. I'm pro-life and and am against all abortions, no matter the circumstances, and you can't change my mind.

Even when it's for medical reasons?

Even when the baby is already dead? (Yes, this has happened before.)

This man also thinks any form of birth control(including condoms) and masterbation are morally wrong. Just letting you know you probably won't get a logical debate out of this guy lol.

          • Not related to this user, but on YouTube I found a Canadian man claiming to be Christ’s second coming, and he’s been granted the authority to curse people who rebel against him....

He also gave an example of a person who left from his “leadership” and believes his cancer was from his rebellion.

I regret finding some people on the internet.

If the baby is already dead, it isn't an abortion, as the child is dead. My definition of an abortion is a procedure made to kill the fetus and remove it from the womb. Just as a caesarian section isn't an abortion, as it's purpose does not include killing the baby.

Really, so if you were raped, you wouldn't consider an abortion.

      Yes or no?

There's no such thing as "pro-life". If anything, pro-lifer's are "pro-birth". They've got sod all interest in what happens to the child as long as it's born, and always fail to take into account that the mother might die if she gives birth because of birth complications such as a ruptured placenta etc etc

15 weeks hard cut off. I'm a libertarian so individual rights and all that good stuff. But at 15 weeks I recognize that fetus as a person who has the right to live. I align myself with the pro life crowd and I absolutely reject the infanticide bill in New York.
