Is it normal i tell my friend i love you?

My best friend and I are really close. One day we got to the word love. But we always said "as a friend" afterwards. Is that normal? I'm a guy

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • It would sound more couth if You said "Love Ya Bro!" adding the "I" in the beginning implies more of a more intimate effect.

  • Yeah, that's normal. I've heard " I love you man" all the time between men. It's healthy and normal.

  • It makes me wonder how comfortable you two are with each other for even needing to specify "as a friend".

  • If you REALLY love your friend, delete "as a friend"!

  • What you guys got is a bromance. No need to stress about looking gay.

  • Isn't about being gay for me, its like, as friend, as bro, as "No homo" thing, i mean like you maybe are friend for so long and share alot of things together its something of your life, that thing that you say "man i need to speak (for example) John" Because you feel like complete your day spend a day with someone that knows you for long time, talk about shit, chicks and videogame or male stuff. its normal. (Sorry for bad english, tho).
