Is it normal i suck at socializing but people still occasionally text me

I am bad at socializing and making friends. I don't think I am an interesting human to hang around with. I just graduated from college and everybody of course went their separate ways. I thought I would be forgotten by everybody after that due to how lame I was in term of socializing.

Yet some friends and acquaintances from highschool and college years still approach me by texting occasionally for nice little chats. I often read the stories from people with bad social skills like I am but they seemed to always had it worse where nobody bothered to text them without them making a move first.

    I am the same. I had no friends in school I just kept to myself and I am still a loner and when I go outside I am in nature so not exactly a place where you meet people. Yet I have several people texting me occasionally and wanting to hang out. I've met all of them online but I suck at staying in touch with them and text them quite rarely. Mostly everyone i've befriended or dated have told me they really enjoy my company and I always wonder why because I also see myself as quite boring often, or at least that I should come off that way to others but apparently I don't.
    We don't always see ourselves as others do.
