Is it normal i smell random perfume?

Female here. So... all day I've been smelling perfume.

I don't wear perfume and never have. The smell has been dancing around me all day no matter where I went. And it's always while I was walking somewhere and never in the car or my home. No one in my household wears perfume and I didn't go to work today so coworkers are out.

I mean.. I love the scent a lot. I remember the first time I ever encountered such a smell and it was at a hotel I visit a long time ago. So I recognized it... I just don't know why I kept smelling it all day.

Normal?

Idk why everyone instantly jumps to stroke when this is brought up on this site. There are far more common and obvious signs of stroke...and far more likely reasons for the phantom smell.

I'm not a doctor, I can't rule anything out. But chances are, it's not a stroke. Still, a visit to the doctor might be advisable.

Try not to panic. You made a good decision to get checked out. It may well be nothing, but if it isn't, then at least you're on the right track.

True, it could also be a tumor, epilepsy, oncoming non epileptic seizure, traumatic brain injury, a cyst, Alzheimer's, a migraine.

The point of saying stroke is they need to see a doctor. Not a moron on IIN.

...so you say what you mean.

Could also be a range of non life threatening things. Still advisable to see a doctor, which is why I said to see a doctor, instead of just "stroke" or "nasal polyps" or "cancer".

Only you're back peddling, so it's all irrelevant.

Please keep in mind that, once again, this is YOU starting with shit. I'm quite happy to continue ignoring your ignorant fucktardery and attention whoring, but you will attempt to engage. And before you start claiming that my first comment was directed at you, get your head out of your arse and notice the world around you...someone else commented similar to you. Not everything is about you, precious.

Would love to see those screenshots you claim to have that prove I'm the "reason" you get "banned", btw.

Could be having a gas leak in your home. Could cause memory loss or other problems that don’t link together.

Sometimes, when I'm lying in bed, I smell a fruity perfume. I don't know why, as I don't wear fruity perfumes.
