Is it normal i offered her money but she rejected it

I offered my friend to pay half towards treatment for acupuncture as treatment for her energy levels because she suffers from extremely low energy. However, she said no way and that she would never expect payment from anyone towards her health and she will work on it when she can.

Why is she being so stubborn? I really want her to feel better

I wouldn't accept the money either. Money causes issues and I don't like owing people.

I have trouble accepting money too. The times I do is if its a tip or one time my aunt taunted me and put $30 on the table and was like, you won't accept this, and I took it lol

Maybe if she wasn't blowing guys all night instead of sleeping she would have more energy

Women are weird when it comes to their health. Some just make things up to get sympathy. Sometimes it is a issue they don't want to talk about. But in your case it is probably the fact that you are trying to get her to let a stranger stab her with thousands of little needles, and she just doesn't want that.

    • Well she was very interested in acupuncture when I first recommended it and I know she isn't faking her health problems as I have seen her when she's been low.
I think it's a money issue and the fact she needs to let her pride go and accept the help

Help someone doesn't want isn't help, it's an imposition. Be a good friend and respect her decision not to accept money from you: if you really want to support her ask her what she would like to receive from you rather than focussing on what you want to give her. That could be about control rather than true friendship

    • I am and did accept her.
I jus worry about her a lot because I know what it feels like to have low energy and depression because of anxiety.
I know not many people would offer something like this so I wish she would have accepted for her health sake but I obviously can't make her take my money lol
I'm sure if it were someone else, they would have.
I personally think she probably doesn't feel like she's worth it or she'd take it or her pride is in the way

Or he could help her overcome her pride to accept handouts and have her "work" for the money.

Sorry to assume, I made the mistake because smoke everything called you "man" and I was responding to him.
