Is it normal I never see my family anymore. I got out of an abusive home and moved to a different city. I am free from the misery which are my horrible parents. I have relatives of my extended family who love me. However even when I have time I hardly see them anymore. Am I a bad person?

        It makes you smart to separate yourself from heartache that is not your fault and you do not deserve. Live your life not theirs. That will be tough enough. Good luck.

    You were abused. Of course it's normal. They don't deserve you. I would try hanging out more with your other extended relatives though.
