Funny, I have a golden retriever puppy and I’m mixed about him. He used to bite me really hard all the time and even now he still can be annoying, but I love him all the same!

The only time my sister's toy poodle bites me is when he's snatching food from my fingers. This little dog is all about begging, he is highly food motivated.

Mr. Rogers (no "d") was a kind and gentle man. He also cared very much about children - not in a creepy way at all. You should see his testimony before Congress. He really knew what kids need to grow up healthy in mind. And Tom Hanks is a very good if not great actor. I think he's an excellent choice to play Fred Rogers. Who else would you see playing the part? I can't think of anyone.

I love his voice, and accent! He sounds Southern, but not too much. There's something very genteel about him, and he exudes intelligence.

Tom Hanks is the most wonderful person in the whole world. It is not normal to dislike him.

"Who's Tom Hanks?" Seriously? Someone who's never heard of Tom Hanks is like someone who's never heard of Donald Trump. I couldn't imagine anyone who's hidden away from the world that much.

I remember being at a church service around 2012 when I was maybe 12 or 13 and the pastor mentioned “in a hundred years kids won’t remember who Tom Hanks is” and I was like “I don’t even know who that is NOW!”

I mean. Each is to their own. And we all have our own opinions etc. but as far as I’m concerned Tom Hanks is one of the best actors I have ever seen! He’s great! Just look at his role in Apollo-13 and Cast away. Just to name a few!

I don't understand why they would make a movie about Mr Rogers. When I was a kid I always thought the guy was kinda creepy. Like if I ever encountered a child molester he would probably sound like that. What kind of grown man hangs out with freaky puppets and has such an interest in children?

Mr Rogers was just a very kind man, a very rare sort of person.

I never liked him as a kid, either. He was only popular because there was nothing else to watch and people had low standards.

Hes one of those elite, out of touch with common folk celebrities that uses every chance he gets to preach to common folks about politics and how they need to think

With every comment you make, you continue to show your ignorance and total lack of kindness or compassion. Tom Hanks is not an elitist at all. His mother was a hospital worker and his father was an itinerant cook. They moved 10 times during Tom's first 10 years of life, mostly in search of gainful employment. Tom didn't grow up rich by any stretch, and I rarely hear him comment about politics. But he is responsible for calling the WWII generation the Greatest Generation, a phrase that has been generally accepted by those who have studied history. You, on the other hand, are typical of today's clueless morons.

  • I like Tom Hanks, one of my favorite actors from the West. But I hate Robert De Niro or however his name is spelled.

Love Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Jack Nicholson, Anthony Hopkins, and Chris Rock

Kinda the whole point of the movie is that he participates in major historical events of the late 20th century, so it kinda works as historical fiction.

Forrest Gump is sweet but kind of overrated imo. He's been in far better movies.
