Is it normal i need to listen to asmr of cuddling to feel loved?

I'm just an incredibly lonely person, no s/o to speak of, no way to meet people, and I've got too much time on my hands.
Sometimes, man, you just gotta listen to something to make you feel loved and appreciated, and cuddling ASMR is my thing. Sometimes it's themed around an anime I like, sometimes it's just some guy. I don't really like the visual ones, and much prefer just high-quality sound. As well, I don't really like the sexual ones. I just wanna innocently cuddle and relax. Or, rather, pretend that someone wants to cuddle me and relax with a weighted blanket or smth.
Is that normal? I mean, the point of ASMR is to relax you, so maybe? But maybe not the kind of ASMR I choose.

I use asmr just to nap. Mostly I just use rainfall in my sound machine.

    What does cuddling sound like...?

    • More accurately it's someone talking to you whilst cuddling. Talking about their day, asking about your's, etc..

You're normal. You have an outlet to get what you need that harms none. I would recommend adding something you can create to your day, or more e-friends to reach out to, to round our your ability to remember what humans sound like.

As for the contrast of notions. Imagine if ASMR gave your brain the fits. The 'better' it is the harder it is to activate cognition afterward. I had one recommended to me that was well regarded. I couldn't speak clearly for five minutes after two sentences in.

The weighted blanket is a good idea. The ASMR is a good stopgap. You do need more but at least you're engaging in some fort of self care and are aware of your needs.
