First of all im not talking about a relationship.
I worked with this girl couple years ago at a dog day care. We got along super well & became some what close there. We hung out twice outside of work but for some reason she acted distant on me & I asked what's up, she explained she doesn't feel a connection in our personalities but I'm a really nice, funny girl e.c.t
Skip ahead 2 years...I think of her the odd time so decided to pm her and she replied surprisingly :) Said its really nice I messaged her & we had a short convo. 2 weeks later I explained how I've always found her sweet & if she's ever going through anything, I'm a good listener. She said how nice that is and wrote a couple xx which she's never done tbh.
Do I have another chance as a friend? Time changes people, I've changed. I'd like to be there for her. IIN?

    I dunno, but her history with you isn't that good so I wouldn't count on it too much. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, so maybe it's nothing.

        I mean there just might be a certain illusion on fondness that might be the result of the novelty of two people reconnecting after a two year separation is all. It's possible that perceived fondness might dissapate once the novelty has worn off. I hope I'm wrong, but you never know.

            I dunno, I'm powerless over other people. If I could wield any control over others I would convince them to give me a mindlessly simple job that pays well, has full benefits and allows me to work there as long as I choose.
