I was being more polite than the "individual" I am conversing with, so not within the context of the conversation was I being rude. Not indulging an underage liar hardly constitutes being rude. Rather, I provide the service of telling you that you are full of shit so that somebody else doesn't have to.
You were being rude. Whether the person is 17 or 507, they had the right to defend themselves in the manner they did. You were not respectful...so why should they be?
