I can see where you're coming from on the losing friends randomly side of things. At least, friends you're in contact with on the internet. Sometimes it just seems to be the way of things. What interests me though that I don't think I saw anyone comment on is the fact that you said you would "have a go" at them and delete them. Let me say first that when someone sends me a long reply, I sometimes say "Ok" just to let them know I acknowledge them. Sometimes, I don't know what to say, or they cut off and I expect more to come. They could be doing that... So if you freak out on them, they may not understand why. And if you delete them right away, they may never get the chance to talk it out with you. I would suggest if you're getting upset to get up and walk away for a few minutes. Take a deep breath and return when you've calmed down. Of course, some people are just douchebags and deserve to be insta-blocked. So it could go both ways. I guess the long and short of it is... sometimes, people lose friends for the stupidest reasons.
