        Yeah. Generally one date doesn’t mean you’re going steady. That’s very respectful of you to end other relations but you may want to discuss with the new guy that y’all are monogamous. Just so he does the same.

            So, did he ask you on a date or to be his girlfriend? Typically, people go on at least a few dates before deciding to make it official.

              I'm guessing this is a high school relationship by the sounds of it, and typically just being asked out means you're "dating" in high school.

              Edit: Never mind, just read a comment stating the OP is over 20.

                Yeah. Thank you. Sorry if I sound younger. Always been 'awkward and not knowing for words' hes in college and I'm working and my ex/friend/not Fwb now is working too. Big age diffrent. Boyfriend is a year or so younger then me and ex/friend is about 10-15 years older then me..but sometimes acts childish about some siteration in my opening.

                Dont wanna give out exact ages etc
