I figured out that I missed my youth. I did the opposite of what was socially accepted on purpose thinking that anti-conformism will get me anywhere. Now I realize it was so stupid and I just wasted years of experiences and opportunities that probably won't return.
Now when I realized how idiotic it was and actually want to do something with it to stop wasting time and opportunities, people tell me I'm too old to try to do what I haven't during those lost years.
What's idiotic is thinking that any significant options in your life have been closed off by you reaching the grand old age of 25.
If you're not happy with your life, figure out how to change it. Dwelling on how life has passed you by at your age is doing precisely what you claim to regret: wasting time and opportunities.
IIN I'm afraid of being arrested for being old?
