I guess what you're saying is true (I hope so) but my other friend is probably 15 pounds overweight (not as big as this girl for sure) and she's seen as really attractive as she has been asked out/complimented numerous times by good-looking men and has even dated a male model. She doesn't dress to conceal either and the fact she's a bit overweight is always exposed with the tight clothes she wears. I mean, I'm sure that means there are exceptions or that overweight isn't as big a deal as "big, big" but yeah.
I do hope it's true though as I feel like a deflated balloon next to this girl and it makes me feel horrible even though I'm not stick-thin and actually have a normal healthy figure with a normal butt. Sigh. Thanks for the input.
I don't think all men go for "thin" so that's probably why but again, overweight sometimes doesn't seem like much and 15 pounds isn't a deal breaker for many, I'm sure. It's more when they're actually noticeably big and not just workout at the gym for 2 months and lose the 15 pounds. It's when they're obese like you say your friend is that the average male is not attracted to. Maybe she is great at concealing herself but if she's as big as you say, that's still quite difficult to cover up. I'd say you're over thinking this too much anyway. A butt isn't what makes a guy approach someone and if she's not as pretty as you in the face department and she's much larger and unhealthy in size, why would you think a man would prefer her over you? Don't base this on one part of the body alone. Some guys (probably very few) might be just into one part but those are the wrong guys anyway who are looking for one night stands.
Do you not get complimented as well or are you just making a statement saying that about your friend? Just curious because if you don't, it may be how you come off (personality-wise).
Hmm yeah, you might be right and I do get complimented too when I'm with my overweight friend and our personalities are actually pretty similar so I was just mostly making a statement with that.
But with my boyfriend's obese sister, I just feel like I'm less attractive when in her presence just because of her butt. It's like I feel less womanly, maybe? I guess I feel like I'm not as "curvaceous" next to her and that it takes away from me. I just thought guys go for those assets first regardless of the rest of the body whether that be weight or face but I suppose that's not true.
IIN I lost all my self esteem all because of someone's butt?
