    Excellent points. I never argue with opinionated bores. I also tend to assume that they're ranting on because, deep down, they're not totally sure they're right, and they're desperate for someone else to tell them they are.

      Definitely not.

      If someone is in the wrong I'll definitely make them aware and fight them till they give up

        The problem is that there are no universal truths, so you are basically tilting at windmills the majority of the time, if you take that stance.
