I think people tend to like different bits of Geography depending on which type of brain.. As a kid I always loved the maps and the rocks but drifted off after about ten seconds of farming patterns!
Yeah that is true, I'm a student a Geography and I've seen most people prefer either the physical/science-y aspect of it or the more societal/human aspect. I'm one of those people who actually likes both pretty equally, which seems to be a small minority in my experience.
It's odd because usually I'm not a science-y person, I'm more into my humanities. I love history, literature and arts, I was crap at science (outside of physical geography) and maths at school.
IIN I liked history and English class but hated science and math?

I was the science type but I hated geography.
