I'm not gonna give the "age is just a number" saying because everyone else has already done it.
I'm more concerned with the fact that he might want a family and you're not ready for one- that can be a huge deal in a relationship. If he's dead set on wanting a family at this time, and you're not ready for one right now, I think that might be the bigger problem in your relationship, not your age.
