You won't succeed at that line of work unless your very successful at manipulating people, which you probably don't have an aptitude for...seeing as you struggle making connections due to prior trauma.
For the record, I don't have a problem with the "sex trade" if it's done in a legal controlled setting, that protects sex workers and prevents disease.
I am however, against "pimps" - ie people that take advantage of desperate women with problems (run always, drug addicts, abuse victims, or the homeless) and manipulate them into partaking in the sex trade, only to physically abuse them and steal half the profits. If that's what you mean, then you are, indeed, a shitty person.
Actually I am very good at manipulating people, I just prefer not to use it for cruel profit. Such as I can use my sex appeal to get people to chase and do nice things for me. However I not that much of a dick. I dont see the purpose in physically abusing your workers. If you abuse them why would they work for you?
If I was a pimp I would get a house to keep them at and tell them that they can determine pricing all on their own. As long as I always get the same percentage of the profits. I would also agree that if they found a client being unreasonable I would simply get rid of them. I would not force anyone to work for me just search for the street dwellers already in the trade.
Ok master manipulator, you think physical abuse doesn't occur in the illegal sex trade? Low level street pimps often target women who have been serious victims of abuse, and offer "protection" in return for profit, and often manipulate, ply with drugs and physically abuse said women in the interest of making money. It happens. There's a reason people in that line of work seek out the addicted and desperate, and I'm assuming that you're aware of that, since you mention the homeless, whom are often suffering from abuse, addiction, and (sadly) untreated mental disorders...if you want to prey on that, that's on you.
As I said, I'm not against the sex trade...women (and men) are totally free to engage in the oldest profession -to pay the bills- as long as they aren't abused or taken advantage of, as long as they aren't suffering from mental disorders and preyed upon by people who want to make a buck.
If you legitimately take care of your proverbial hoes, then I see no problem with that line of work, but if you seek to take advantage of the desperate and disordered, then that's a different story, and you should be shamey, shame, shamed.
You are the only one implying that is doesn't. I just said I dont see the purpose in abusing workers. Tell me this, why do you think abusing your workers is a good thing? I really would love to hear your justification for it.
Also you are going under the misconception all prostitutes are doing it for drugs. Which I know for a fact they are not. In fact a lot of them are just doing it since they do not have enough money to survive and sex always sells. In fact the same reason a lot of women strip. They need money, and sex always sells.
You should get rid of your delusions and see reality for what it really is. You say you are not against prostitution yet you are painting all prostitutes as drug addicts and advocating abusing workers for simply being disadvantaged. I might not have any sympathy left but obviously far less of a dick than you are.
IIN I kind of want to be a pimp?
