Is it normal i killed a moth

Okay so I was getting ready for bed and heard a buzzing noise so I turned my lights on and saw this massive moth that started flying around.

It hit the fan and got thrown against the wall, I grabbed it with tissue paper and flushed it down the toilet. I feel really bad now for doing it but there was no way of letting it out bc my dad is asleep and all the doors are locked. I feel really guilty for killing it now, I feel sad :'(

    Moths are gentle creatures. They just want to fly around like idiots in random well lit places

    If its injured theres not much you can do but whenever I can I let bugs out or capture them and take them out. I'm not a fan of senseless killing.
