How long have you been there for? Has something happened that's meant you've lost some friends or did you struggle to make any to begin with?

Making friends as an adult is much harder than people realise it will be. I think college especially can be difficult for some as it's the first time you've had to make an effort to make friends - at school there will have been loads of people you were forced together with every day who you'd known since you were little.

It might sound daft but many adults have to learn how to make friends, it's a life skill. Now you have to join groups/clubs and make polite conversation and invite people for a drink and what not. If you're not naturally confident it's a pretty terrifying experience.
