Nah thanks: booze isn't great for my skin, spending all day every day at home would make me feel lonely and disconnected from the world (even with 'bar breaks'), holidays abroad are senseless without a reason to go or someone to go with (and that would probably be the case if I spent my life between my home and the bar), and I don't want to think about what'll happen when my mum dies.
You argue that you have to answer to no-one when you have to answer to your mother, aka your free landlady, who could boot you out any time she wanted. The only people who answer to no-one are financially independent.
IIN I have a better life than most of you

Also, I kinda like my job.

1. because of my stress-free life, the damage that alcohol does to my skin is fairly minimal, I'd say.
2. Human interaction is too much hassle.
3. Holidays don't require a purpose - that's why they're nice!
4. At least you outlived her, and not the other way around. That's probably how I'd feel.
5. Well, good for you. But if I had to wake up and answer to someone else every freaking day? Omg, I'd fucking hate that!
