Is it normal i hated american football until i moved to another state and

found out how much they hated my home states football team? I moved to New Orleans from mobile alabama and heard nothing but trash talk from lsu fans about the Crimson tide. I didn't have a retort, simply because I had never watched a game in my life and had no idea what even a first down was.

Then I started watching and learning and actually became quite a college football fan. It was easy to talk shit to the loser state university fans cuz my team almost always wins.

I really dislike football and have always been offended that Americans have claimed the word for a sport where the only time they use their actual foot is to kick a ball once every play!!! THEY HAVE STOLEN THE WORD FROM THE REAL FOOTBALL!!! Then renamed it SOCCER - even though the sport was born in England - who also originated the damn language!!!!!

So, you were challenged, accepted it and even won! Hahaha. Nice.

    • Can't argue with that, hun. We Americans sure do change the language as we like. Keep in mind though, how we American men love a British girls accent. Sexy! 💘 However, when a British man talks, it sounds faggy as hell to us.

Hahaha, you think? That's funny! I'm sorry but I must disappoint you now, I'm not English :(

So, how's your team doing? Do you now actually root for them or just follow passionlessly to have your retorts?

        • Australian accent is pretty cool too! (New Zealand? hot!)

My team is currently ranked #1 in the nation. We often are. Historically the best team in American "football" history.

So, um, where are you from? 😉

Hahaha none of those accents, sorry again! Imagine an international accent that you can't exactly place in any state there. That's what I get the most, even if it does sound closer to American than any other country's... that's me! Born there and raised between Brazil and USA by Brazilian parents. :D
