my voice is just weird and funny, when i start to talk i feel other people are annoyed from it, it just has a very repulsive tone, and the worst part is that i always speak too fast so people dont understand me and make it worse, when ever im doing like presentations or something i just get nervous because of it, what can i do to make it smoother ??
I hate my voice too even though people have complimented it before. It's kinda deep and I'm a woman. I like deep voices on other women but I feel insecure of my own.
I also tend to talk in monotone so that makes me hate it even more.
There are a ton of youtube videos on proper speech. An easy test is to pinch your nose and speak. If you sound basically the same, you're doing it right.
If you sound different, look into diaphragmatic speaking.

Impossible to know whether this is only your perception or whether others would agree with you. Ask someone you trust and you might find this repulsiveness is all in your own mind.
As to speaking too fast, tell yourself "Slow Down, Slow Down" repeatedly whenever you can and this might change the habit, which I find very irritating when I encounter it.
Alternatively, if you can afford it, find a voice coach
ah , so you are a fast talker , you come off as a nervous twit to others. so when you were young you thought that fast talking was going to show others you were a fast thinker. so you talked really fast . and now as an adult when you get nervous you just resort to talking fast because thats what you know. and you are right , it sounds awful.
