I hate my birthday for the opposite reason. I just wish I could be left alone and treated the same as any other day, because in reality, it is.
I think it's pointless to celebrate the anniversary of one's birth because, ultimately, you're still only just one day older than the day before.
Why should X years of age be any more special than X years +/- a few hours.
