Is it normal i hate money oriented people?

I hate people who make a big deal about every little thing that costs them money. I work at a grocery store and a good example of this is on a stormy day a cart hit a lady's car and made a dent about the size of a golf ball on her driver's door. She wanted to see the manager to make a claim. She showed me the dent and the car was still perfectly functional. I don't see why she needed to bother us with this because the car was still perfectly drive-able and she told me it wasn't my fault. I don't see why she would even remotely want to take our money because of this. If the car is still perfectly drive-able, then who cares how it looks?! Almost everybody has some sort of dent or mark on their car. Even though it wasn't my fault, I still think she should have just left it alone. At the very least, she could take a small amount of car paint and paint over it so it would be less visible, but even that isn't necessary. I just can't believe that so many people try to milk money out of anything or anyone they can all the time! Is it normal that I feel this way? I wish money was nonexistent because it would prevent a lot of problems.

Oh the irony. You hate that it bothers the car owner because it will cost YOU money making YOU the one who bothers to pay and you are clearly the one at fault here. If you destroy other people's property you pay, it's that simple.

If I ever caught someone denting up my car and fleeing the seen, I light their head on fire.

She had a legit concern, should of made a police report.

To file a claim with her own Insurance company would require her to carry comp and collision. This will have a deductible in force from anywhere from 100 to 500 dollars on the average. Making her responsible to pay the first 100 to 500 dollars of the car repair bill. She would have been wiser to get a police report of the incident and then file a claim against your store's insurance company for damages and avoid paying any deductible. The incident you described tells me that your store was clearly at fault. As a former Property and Casualty agent I would have faked some sort of bodily injury as well. Thereby taking your sorry asses to the cleaners!
