      Was discussing this with someone the other day. When exactly does a turn on become a fetish?
      They thought it may possibly be when you need that thing in order to get off but I disagree

        It is to do with something that is a part of or connected to the main thing e.g. Having a fetish for women's feet, or a man's hands, or shoes.

        I didn't get a detailed enough answer, about 2 people responded to that post and I took It down.

          Something that isn't sexual in itself. Like you couldnt have a fetish for boobs or dicks coz thats just normal. The fetish is when a non sexual thing becomes sexual.

              If it were the only thing it would be weird maybe pathological. We all have fetishes, they're normal. I think.

                Yeah. I think I may be thinking about a disorder and confusing it.

                Well...we all have preferences and interests. Not necessarily fetishes. But youre right, having a fetish can be a normal thing.

            And you can't get off without whatever it is, it has to be a bit more than just liking or enjoying something, to be a fetish it must essential for that person to get off sexually

        If it's something that's not sexual in itself, but you can't get off without it, that's a fetish: for example, leather or high heels or just about anything
