Is it normal i hate it when people worry for me if i'm injured?

It could be something as simple as accidentally banging my knee or something against a table or accidentally receiving a scratch/cut, I absolutely hate when people come over and try touching me and asking things like "are you okay" Idk why it just makes me feel really annoyed and I don't want them to say anything or comfort me at all. Once I fell down a flight of stairs at school and couldn't walk properly and still felt annoyed that people were asking if I was okay and asked me if I needed to see a nurse, I told them no and limped away and was in a lot of pain the rest of the time but I didn't want to see anyone for help. Is this normal?

  • I hate receiving pity or help if I don't first ask for it.

  • Yes I hate it too. I feel guilty. I don't believe that doctors actually do anything tho so that's why I do it.
