This is the reason why chivalry is slowly dying because women won't allow us to be chivalrous. Honestly your friends are just being polite, so accept their kindness.
It is truly a shame. However, as long as there are women like you, who appreciate polite guys, like me, then chivalry will continue to live. I really do wish that more girls were like you.

Im a woman and I agree with this. Personally, I'm delighted and thankful for the courtesy. It's a shame some other women don't feel the same way.
