Is it normal i had a big gush of wetness down there

I met up with a couple of friends today (girl mates), and I was rather anxious. Anyhow, when I came home & went to the toilet I had this huge glob of stickyish fluid. Its like the clear fluid us girls get down there but this was pretty big ...yuck ...I don't know if this is a sign of being sexually excited? Can anxiety cause more fluid down there or what? I never have this much unless around my monthly ...
