I'm surprised you need people to tell you that this isn't normal.
Do you have other violent thoughts like this? For example, imagining stabbing someone to death when they're talking to you or something. Or is it just focused on drowning children? Either way you should probably speak to the doctor. It can be a warning sign of some mental illnesses. Or it could just be that you need some therapy.
I think you're being misunderstood here, dude. If I'm reading this correctly, then the idea pops up in your mind, but you just let it go and don't actually want to do it?
Look up intrusive thoughts, dude. There's a consensus within psychology that an awful lot of people get seriously inappropriate thoughts, but they just let them go.
However, if you actually want to do it then that's a different matter.
That's exactly what I was thinking in regards to it. It's normal if it's a thought that pops up suddenly, but isn't something you actually want to do. It's not normal if the thought comes out of actually wanting to do it. I recall one time I saw a blind person with a walking stick and thought to myself about stepping on it and causing it to fall to the floor, grabbing it up, and beating him with it. It was very sudden, and disturbed me a lot because it wasn't something I would enjoy nor did I have anything against that man.
i do it all the time. I fantasize about killing people everyday also burning down buildings. Exept one time in math i kept seeing blodd and then me cutting a finger and peeling it like a banana. it was amazing. except for the fact that when i told my friend she threw up. like um ok pussi
