Is it normal i get tingling sensations when wearing prescription glasses?

hello..

i have a pair of prescription glasses that i got recently. they fit perfect except for the fact that when i sometimes wear them, i get this tingling, crawling sensation under my eyes or on my nose bridge. the glasses i think are made of some sort of plastic, not metal.

i don't understand why it happens, but it's just this annoying tingling sensation that appears on my face when i wear them. i tried searching on google for what might be causing this, and apparently it could be formication. but if that's the case, why does it only happen when i only wear my glasses.

without them, i can't see a thing, my vision is terrible. maybe i should have gotten metal glasses, but at the moment, i'm having to put up with these.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

I know that feeling and can relate I don’t wear glasses only sunglasses and started to have that feeling recently I think it’s basically the structure of the glasses that causes that as they sit directly on your nose try talking with whoever gave those glasses to you certainly they might know what’s going on

I'm really badly nearsighted, but I haven't experienced anything like this.

One really weird, and annoying thing I used to experience at a previous place of employment was that my I.D. card that I had to wear around my neck on a lanyard, use to open the doors to get into the building, and to clock in & out would get demagnetized after I had worn it for a while.

I started wearing glassesin 4th grade, the old black olastic birth control devices. You might look at the frames you have now, when i had mine the surface of frames earpieces actually started to "bubble". I asked a doctor and i was told i had a high acid content in my skin. I guess it had to do with ph kinda like chlorine in a pool. Just dont be afraid to ask questions.
