Is it normal i get motivation to study science from fictional characters?

When I'm studying maths or any science subjects, one source of motivation for me is thinking that all the fictional genius scientist characters in cartoons and video games know all this stuff and must have once learned it all too. It's cool to know that, although you never see it in their games/cartoons, they must also have learned all these basics of science too and been fascinated by it all. Even all the more wacky outlandish scientists with (admittedly very unrealistic) advanced technology like Dr. Cortex, Dr. Eggman, Dr. Drakken, etc. It really does motivate me to be more like them.

I have no idea who those people are since I never play video games and I haven't been watching any cartoons since I was 8 years old, but I really like science. I like biochemistry especially :)

I guess this is normal, getting motivation from fictional characters. No matter it's normal or not it's good for you.

Oh yeah I forgot about him. His level of knowledge and expertise is a bit intimidating though, lol.
