It's normal, but not correct.
This is just the way I see it, but life is a little like a baseball game.

25 isn't actually very old anyway. There are still opportunities out there if you look hard enough.
25 is young. He still has plenty of time to do stuff with his life.
It sounds like life is not like a baseball game.
