Is it normal i feel dirty saying "i upthumbed you" with regard to comments..

i feel so weird saying to someone "okay i upthumbed you" ... its like saying "i stuck my thumb up your butthole"... is this a normal thought process? is it normal to feel weird saying this?

    I always say "A thumb for you sir" or "I give you a Thumb".

    Still kinda awkward but not that kind of awkward.
