  • Why not get your education at home and use the 40k you saved for travel thereafter, maybe getting a better job somewhere exotic? Paying your dues and choosing wisely is an important part of growing up.
I do not under stand "So for 20,000, I get to be slightly miserable for the next four years vs. extremely happy for three years if I pay 60,000" how you can know you'd be extremely happy with that option. It's quite possible that the added pressure of learning in a foreign land, finding housing, a job, transportation, etc. and owing so much more money at the end, would make you much more miserable than if you'd stayed home. Even with a good education good jobs are hard to get, so perhaps you should shelve your wishes in favor of necessity.

    • My best friend actually studied abroad and then moved to England and that's where I've planned to visit long before she even stepped foot there. So I'd live with her, in her apartment. Where I live now, I'm stuck with family life that is not the greatest and I am often stuck in fights. So I feel that is something right there as I will have the support of my best friend and will be able to move in. She's older than me but she's so lucky she got a job there.
