Is it normal i dont like recieving gifts?

I use to give away gifts to people for every holiday and thought of everyone. In the past id be touched if someone got me one because it showed they cared. However in recent years I don't like the idea of anyone getting me anything. Truth is if I want it I'll buy it. I have a job so what exactly do I need?

    Maybe you should just tell people you want cash. That way you can use that money to buy things you want and save your own money!

    make them buy your time , a gift that requires they be with you , like a dinner or movie , those kinds of gifts.
