Is it normal i don't want to visit family?

I have to go to many family functions and I just got on holiday but I really just want to spend it alone. Instead I'm going to be forced to attend even though I'm sick and tired. I just finished this course/project of mine and people are going to be asking questions. I don't know the results and I don't want to answer. Furthermore the relatives I have to socialize with have been non-existant most of the time. What would you do if you were me?

    If you have a lot of them to attend why not compromise and only go to one or two of them...then spend the rest of the holiday as you wish.
    frankly if I didnt want to go hang out with people friends or family I wouldnt...and I would tell them I didnt want to and why...but im honest like that and people dont give me too hard of a time about it. Really only my bf gives me a hard time if he goes but I refuse lol...everyone else just excepts my absence.

    if you're just going to be miserable, I'd personally refuse to go. I had a family event on Thanksgiving and I reaaally didn't want to go, but I agreed to anyway, but I got lucky and felt crappy that morning anyway and didn't end up going. :D
