Lesbians do not crave dick. If a woman who dates women enjoy sex with someone who has a penis then she is bisexual. Not a lesbian.
There's effeminate straight men, so if lesbians were into trans women they'd date those too as being around men with a lot of stereotypically feminine interests and personality traits can feel a lot like being around a woman.
It's not offensive to have a sexual orientation either, as long as you are attracted to consenting adults. If we're gonna make that a bad thing again then that would be regressing society and going back to homophobia being the norm. It's called SEXuality after all, it's all about SEXual preferences and sex involves genitalia...
You can also be romantically attracted to both genders but only sexually attracted to one of them, but even so if a woman who is only sexually attracted to female anatomy falls in love with a man or a trans woman she still won't desire a sexual relationship with that person and that does not make her a transphobe.
I genuienly believe many modern day men who claim to be trans are typical lesbian-fetishists. They pretend to be women in order to try to manipulate lesbians into sleeping with them. There are otherwise pansexual people, and other trans women... Says a lot that they won't settle for their own kind really.

There are case of bisexual people who won't date a trans person though. Again, it's about preferences.
