Is it normal i don't enjoy drinking anymore?

I've been forcing myself to drink once a week, but it's not enjoyable anymore. It puts me in an unhappy fog, then a bad night's sleep. I want to be able to enjoy a drink now and then.

You need to drink every day. That way, the sleepy fog youre complaining about will gradually go away as your body gets used to the constant presence of alcohol. Eventually you won't even notice the feeling of the alcohol, and you'll start to not enjoy NOT drinking!

    • I am starting to think this way. I've been telling myself only on weekends but maybe 5 days is too long of a break.

If you don't enjoy drinking don't do it. What's the point in forcing yourself? Have a drink when you want one :)

Don't force yourself to drink often? Just drink when you do feel like it. If you don't feel like it, it shouldn't matter.

That's a gift from our God ALLAH, u don't like alcohol, all religions hate alcohol. Alcohol has many many side effects allover the body.

  • I've lost interest to drink. This feeling seemed to start around this time last year.

I haven't consumed much alcohol in my life except towards the end of my college year. I just feel like there I need my life more organized and that is my main priority as of now.
