Is it normal i didn't know this

I am a 22 year old woman and this afternoon I was researching the vagina because I wanted to see where exactly the penis goes in during sex and I discovered that the vagina is NOT were a woman pees from, it's a separate hole called the pee hole. Is it normal I didn't know this?

  • Man people are cruel . This is not really a normal or abnormal issue.

Your young and you don't know. For the guy hypocrites on this page the penis has the same hole for both not like the vagina which is also a more complex sex organ. When i went to high school this was a common topic in sex ed.

The other thing is you may have never been comfortable with talking about this with your parents.

Where i live now most parents are against sex ed in school because god forbid if they found out their teen age "children " were having sex. Even though they did when they were that age. So your a few years out of high school no big deal.

  • I'm honestly hoping you are not serious. Or you are not really 22, but 12? Did you not take health or sex ed class? I'm a guy, and I knew the answer to that in 7th grade.

  • This has to be a troll; nobody could actually be that fucking retarded (as in really, really slow) and not live in an institution.
Perhaps she's off her meds today?

    • I think this could stem from culture. I'm assuming that she's American. In America we've actually had debates over whether or not to have sex-ed in school. It isn't mandatory to have it. If the parent(s) don't want their kid taking the class, they won't take it. We also have this Puritan thinking towards masturbation and nudity. It's possible that she grew up in a household where this information was surpressed and where nudity and masturbation was frowned down upon. We don't know if her family is religious or not. They could've shamed her about these things, thus making them taboo. She never tried to explore herself because, she felt that it was wrong.

      • Good point, though that attitude is way beyond my comprehension.

      • You must be in a strange part of America. I'm going to guess Kentucky.

  • It's called a urethral opening. Go do some more research, you've got some catching up to do. Wikipedia is where I originally learned.

  • I am a gay guy who never had hands on contact with a vagina since I was coming out of one, and I even knew that before your age! Have you been scared to ever look down and touch it your whole life or something?

  • THE URETHRA METUS (OPENING) FOR MOST FEMALES IS JUST INSIDE THE VAGINA LIPS TO FLUSH OUT THE VAGINA. To avoid this flushing a gal as to squat and spread her lips down there. Now take note that this hole can also be located further down or up to the point it actually is part of a little penis with the clit. I love those rare kind of pee holes. Yep, pee comes out of the lips and this is why ladies wipe themselves dry.

  • No, it's not normal. When I was younger, I forgot that there were two main holes. (There are also another set of holes that are either ducts or glands). I think I thought that everything came out of the vaginal opening. Actually, my whole view of the vulva was very skewed, even though I learned about sexual anatomy in elementary. I didn't learn about it properly until I was 16 or 17.

To some extent, I think it is normal for misconceptions to develop if you've never explored yourself down there or if you've never read a book on sexual anatomy. However, I don't think that it is normal for someone of your age not to know. www.theclitoris.com - I got all of my information from here. It's very extensive.
