Sugar gives you an artificial high blood sugar level and then the level drops to below what it was before the sugar.
Protein - cheese or meat - would be much better for you.
Some people do argue that sugar is addictive: I don't know about that but it can certainly become a habit which isn't good for you. You don't have to give it up completely but it sounds as if cutting down and replacing with protein would be a better idea

Its not an addiction since I usually dont eat sugar.
