I think at first, when getting creative, you should focus on enjoying the experimental process , not the end result. just try to have fun making messes with whatever mediums you're working with.
All creative things become more fun the more time you put into them. It takes time to get over the initial hills, but you just have to have fun in those stages and not worry about being perfect.
at some point it could be a good idea to focus really closely and go very slowly, try creating something that what would normally take an hour but do it in a week. spend several hours a day working on this one thing that you'd normally do in an hour or two. tedious, yes. difficult to not get frustrated and throw it all away, yes. but if you just focus your energies, correct mistakes and keep moving on it'll be a good thing.
try writing a page of materiel, separate it all out by sentences, and try to refine each sentence by making it more concise and looking up words you used and using better synonyms instead ( as i so obviously did not take the time to do in this comment lol)
Try drawing super fast and loose, not caring about detail, like scribbles but with a general form.Practice fast non detailed perspective, depth, and shadowing. Then try drawing really really REALLY incredibly slow, with lots of tiny detail and every miss step or slightly off shape gently erased and redone.
IIN I Can't Help But Get Disappointed When I Try Being Creative?

My two cents
