Is it normal i can’t remember how to do simple tasks?

I’m sure as a kid I was taught to swim, brush my hair, brush my teeth and tie my shoes, along with other things.

But I can’t remeber being taught any of those things so now as an adult (24) I don’t know how to do any of those things. Someone can teach me now and I’ll just forget again.

  • How much sleep a you getting? I’m your age, and I’ve been through periods in my life where I don’t get much sleep but I feel that affects my short term memory more than my long term.

How do you feel generally? You may wish to talk to your doctor.

You are showing early signs of Alzheimer's.

I can't remember how to do pony tails or plaits. I also tie my shoes much slower than I did as a kid. More importantly, who's been brushing your teeth all these years, or do you not bother?

It very well may be Altzeimer's like a few have already suggested.
You might want to start making those "final decisions" and also thinking about home hospice.
