Is it normal i am too nervous to attend my therapy appointments?

I've recently started therapy but I've canceled a few appointments. Either because I was nervous or had no privacy. My appointments are online because of covid but I have roommates so I don't have too much alone time and I don't want any of them knowing or listening in on me.

Is there a secluded area you can go to, like a wooded area with trees, a lake, or a car?

Take a shot or tell your gp so you can get anti anxiety meds for the nervousness. And before people chime in “medicine bad!!”. Yeah sure it is, but this is a time where it may actually be needed. Or else... JuSt MeDiTaTe

Do you have a car? Maybe you could get in your car, and drive somewhere more private, then do therapy with facetime, or the zoom app. You could also use your laptop computer if your cell service includes a service to use your cell phone as a internet hotspot.

Can't you give yourself privacy by going into your own bedroom and closing your door?

Your post sounds totally normal to me.

First of I wanna say that it is of course normal for you to be very nervous when coming to therapy don't be shy when talking about things.
