Is it normal i am losing my taste for animal products?

I'm not sure why, but animal products are starting to seem to have a strange test and smell to me. Milk has this repulsive stink to it that hits my nose before I drink it and turns me off from it. I've never been a fan of handling raw meat but at this point I find it unbearable. It's slimy and strange to me.

This actually started around the time I had a bout of seizures. I'm an epileptic and I've had two major episodes in my life requiring hospitalization, the last one being the end of May. There was something they were pumping into me that made everything taste disgusting, but that eventually wore off.

I had a friend who wasn't epileptic, but she was bipolar, and she became a vegetarian, because she said meat tasted dead to her.

  • Are you on topamax(topiramate) for epilepsy by any chance? It causes taste perversion.

      • I googled and it said that taste perversion is a possible side effect of Depakote(divalproex sodium)
