I'm not saying the men are victims. I have said in my original post, that they bare most of the responsibility. But if someone wants to commit a bad deed, and you know this and still help him, are you completely free of guilt? If we get this thinking and apply it to another situation, you might say that when you know someone murdered somebody, but you help him hide from the police, you did nothing wrong. I don't believe it's a double standard, men are also guilty if they have sex with a woman they know is married.
I agree with you, it’s the temptation of it all. Say you have a heavy drinker, trying to quit because his wife and kids begged him too. Then along comes someone who “hey I love to drink! How about you and I share a little something at the bar down the street? I’ll pay.” Its not easy to say no, its not easy to just walk away, and when/if the guy says yes, who knows the shame they really feel?
If that person had never come along, he might’ve been fine. It’s not that that person forced the man to have a drink, it the fact that they offered. Without truly caring about how it will effect the person, sinply for selfish gain and pleasure.
Thats what bothers me, the the op is willing screw with people (physically and mentality) without caring what it will cost the other person.
